The REF615 IEC feeder protection and measurement and control device is a dedicated feeder protection and measurement and control device designed to protect, control, measure and monitor public and industrial power distribution systems. In addition, the REF615 can also be used for protection of ring-mesh distribution networks or radial networks, using the unit's advanced inter-station communication capabilities. The network to be protected contains multiple feeders and distributed generation.
The REF615 IEC feeder protection and measurement and control unit is available in 12 standard configurations to suit common feeder protection and measurement and control applications. The relay also supports DNP3, IEC 60870-5-103 and Modbus® protocols. The Profitbus DPV1 protocol is supported via the SPA-ZC 302 protocol adapter.
